Chris Oyakhilome: Biography Of The President of Christ Embassy Church

 Chris Oyakhilome from Nigeria is a pastor, TV host, and an Author. He is president of Believers' World Incorporated which is also called Christ Embassy International. Chris Oyakhilome Background Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on the 7th of December 1973 in the home of Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. He attended secondary and primary school. After that, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria in which he earned a BSc. in Architecture. AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once a married man to Anita Obhodaghe. He and her have two beautiful children. Chris Oyakhilome Ministries While still at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his journey into ministry. The Believers' LoveWorld Fellowship which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at the time called Youths For Christ. Chris Oyakhilome Biography YFC rapidly grew and eventually became the largest college organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the main location for the church. Believer's LoveWorld today has millions of followers and associates around the globe. Through theAtmosphere of Miracles series, BLW became Africa's most well-known Christian ministry on television. Chris Oyakhilome They stopped airing the program in May of 2004, after the then President of Nigeria - Olusegun Obasanjo announced that the country's president had resigned Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should cease airing miracles on TV. Pastor Chris's Ministry includes four divisions including healing ministry, publishing ministry, teaching ministry and television ministry. It is from these ministries that he pulled out the healing school, environment for miracles, and Pastor Chris live prayer network. Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International Future Africa Leaders' Foundation (FALF) The Future Africa Leaders Foundation, an initiative that aims to increase the leadership potentials Africans were born, was established. The foundation honors, recognizes and assists young African leaders who have had a a positive impact on the generation they lead. They do this through education, mentoring young people and empowering them. The foundation recognizes the young leaders through an award ceremony known as The Future Africa Leaders' Award. It is held on the eve of every new year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena, (LCA), Billings Way Oregun, Ikeja. Chris Oyakhilome The president of BLW Reverend Chris Oyakhilome, presents the award to the winners. The InnerCity Mission For Children The InnerCity Mission for Children is a faith-based Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO). The NGO was started in 2005 in order to assist vulnerable, low-income orphaned children around the world. The children who are in need of assistance are supported by the foundation through participation interventions that include family strengthening programs as and child development programs. Trauma Care International Foundation The Trauma care International Foundation was founded to enhance the health and life expectancy in local communities and nations. It also encourages better emergency response in the case of emergencies and accidents. The foundation is able to help in the implementation of national policies on trauma care by supporting them through advocacy as well as health education and community-based programs. Over 1000 trainings on first aid, safety, and emergency management have been offered by the foundation. They have been credited with training over 1,000 schoolchildren police officers, as well as teachers, caregivers and road traffic personnel. Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC). The Volunteer Medical Corps (christian medical outreach) is a global church that provides aid and medical assistance to those who are internally displaced or are refugees from areas that are affected by man-made or natural disasters. Chris Oyakhilome This outreach consists of a network comprised of paramedics, religious health professionals, and students from all over the world. These volunteers provide medical care, relief assistance and affordable health solutions to communities and regions in crisis. VMC also provides local health services and manpower education for health professionals. VMC outreach is open to all with the primary goal to improve health and provide humanitarian assistance for those in need. Bible For All Nation (BFAM). Bible For All Mission (BFAM) is a christian non-profit group, committed to the development, production and global distribution of the Bible to all people from all ages and genders in the language and format they understand. The mission is to help people to understand God's Word, and his life-changing message. BFAM has distributed hundreds of Rhapsody Bibles for free for people who are in prisons, hospitals communities, as well as public institutions across the world. These countries comprise Nigeria, Gambia Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa.
